The creator, Dr. Reyna, is Affiliate Chair of the Division of Authorities at Houston Neighborhood Faculty the place she co-leads inclusive curriculum improvement and course design. She teaches Introduction to American Authorities and Texas Authorities, in addition to Mexican American/Latinx Politics.
In 2017, Dr. Reyna began the Heart for Civic Engagement to empower Houston Neighborhood Faculty college students to make use of their political energy to create change. The Heart for Civic Engagement now collaborates with the Citizen’s Marketing campaign to implement the Energy Civics toolkit in tutorial and free group programs at HCC.
