Tim Blake Nelson has hailed the Marvel Cinematic Universe for “conserving cinema alive.”

The 60-year-old actor will make his return as Samuel Sterns within the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World and hit again at critics equivalent to Martin Scorsese – who branded the superhero blockbusters as “theme parks” and “not cinema.”

Chatting with TheWrap at San Diego Comedian-Con, Nelson stated: “Marvel has grow to be this phenomenon that is unprecedented within the historical past of cinema.”
