Most hurricane insurance coverage denials in Florida not resulting from misconduct, regulator says

For Hurricane Milton, insurers closed 81.7% of the 343,789 complete claims filed throughout a number of traces, together with private and business property, auto, non-public flood, and enterprise interruption, as of February 28. Of those, 35,043 claims remained open with out cost, whereas 27,894 have been nonetheless open with cost.
