 Bridges, a professor of histology, additionally served as director of MUSM’s Ph.D. in biomedical sciences program and had been serving as interim chair of the biomedical sciences division since 2022. She served as director of the Grasp of Science in preclinical sciences program from 2018-25. She joined the MUSM school in 2006.
Bridges earned her bachelor’s diploma in biology from Berry School and her Ph.D. in mobile biology from the Medical School of Georgia at Augusta College. She accomplished postdoctoral coaching on the Medical School of Georgia within the Division of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and at MUSM within the Division of Biomedical Sciences.
