Lawyer indicted for attempting to kill her husband of greater than 25 years

Sara Baker, an Alabama lawyer accused of attempting to kill her husband with fentanyl, was not too long ago indicted on fees together with conspiracy to commit homicide, home violence and illegal distribution of a managed substance.
Citing court docket paperwork, WBRC News stories that Baker allegedly tried to kill her husband 3 times in September 2025. Police arrested her in November. Robin Wolfe, Baker’s lawyer, didn’t instantly reply to an ABA Journal interview request.
Baker had been caring for her husband, James Doyle Baker, after he had a stroke. The couple has been married for about 30 years, Law & Crime reported. She used to work for the district lawyer’s workplace and was in personal observe earlier than being suspended by the Alabama Bar in December, WBRC News reported.
Baker represented a witness listed in her prison grievance, on fees the girl tried to destroy proof by ingesting fentanyl and possessed housebreaking instruments, WBRC Information stories.
