If Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris is elected in November, the Oakland, California, native can be solely the second lawyer-president to carry a regulation diploma from a college that isn’t thought-about a top-14 regulation college within the U.S. News & World Report Rankings.
After graduating from Howard College, a traditionally black faculty within the Washington, D.C., space, with twin levels in economics and political science in 1986, Harris went on to earn her regulation diploma from the College of California Hastings Faculty of the Regulation (which was renamed last year to the College of California Faculty of Regulation, San Francisco) in 1989.
