The mother and father of a 16-year-old boy, Adam Raine, sued OpenAI Inc. and its founder, Sam Altman, in San Francisco state courtroom Tuesday, accusing the ChatGPT maker of encouraging Raine to take his personal life and serving to him to plan a dying by suicide earlier this 12 months.
