President Donald Trump on Wednesday appointed Jay Clayton as interim U.S. Lawyer for the Southern District of New York.
The announcement got here after U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-New York earlier within the day said he would not support Trump’s nomination of Clayton to helm the Southern District.
