US DOJ Threatens to Prosecute Native Officers Who Do not Help Immigration Enforcement

California Lawyer Basic Rob Bonta stated Wednesday that his workplace is ready to take authorized motion if the Trump administration makes an attempt to prosecute state or native officers who do not actively cooperate with federal deportation efforts.

Bonta was responding to stories that appearing U.S. Deputy Lawyer Basic Emil Bove despatched a memo all through the U.S. Division of Justice calling on U.S. attorneys to analyze and presumably prosecute officers complying with so-called sanctuary legal guidelines and insurance policies regarding unauthorized immigrants.
